The current Clean & Simple Challenge, CAS522 - Under the Weather - 2/25/19, is to make a Get well card or weather related card. The current Technique Lovers Challenge, TLC731 - Illusion with Embossing - 2/25/19, is to stamp on the inside of an embossing folder and dry emboss that image onto a piece of cardstock. This technique creates extra depth and gives the illusion that the stamped image is tucked in back of the the raised embossing.
I decided to combine the two current challenges and made this Get well card using a favorite SU set called Bear Hugs. I started the technique challenge part of the card by sponging in a series of SU Inks to create a grass/sky background. Onto this ink bgd I stamped the Bear image using SU Soft Suede. After dry embossing this inked palette onto a piece of cardstock I trimmed and fit it onto a kraft tan card base that had been dry embossed with the SU Subtle embossing folder.
To finish the card I added a stamped/ die cut banner and sprinkled on 3 sizes of kraft colored hearts. I addd a touch of sparkle to the Bears eyes and nose with Nuvo clear glitter brush pen.
Thanks for popping in and peeking at my Get Well card. Warm Bear Hugs to you!

So, so cute! The very first time I tried this for a F4A I used a bear...but at that stage I didn't have any sort of tree ef. I must try again. This would make anybody feel better.

Beautifully done - You did a super job positioning the bear to peek through the birch trees and I love the soft addition of the pale sky and grassy knoll.

This is probably *the* most precious use I have ever seen of embossing folder stamping! What an adorable card, and so beautifully done! Thank you for sharing!
