Loved the winter sky in this image here and I wanted to try a technique that is featured in the CAS Stencil Challenge: Dry ink powders with stencils. My colors turned out bolder than the image however. For more info look here (but the challenge ends today).
BG: On a cs panel I used the technique where you sprinkle powdered inks through a stencil (Crafter's Workshop stencil), then spritz with water and quickly remove the stencil. Let dry.
Unity Emerson Girl: Stamped and colored with copics, fussy cut, then added some more black around the edges to solidify the border.
Picket Fence Sentiment: stamped on panel die cut with stitched landscape border dies
Assembly: As shown, girl and snow drift panel are popped up with dimensional tape.

What a beautiful job you did with this technique, Maura! I haven't tried this yet but what bold colors you achieved. Love the Unity image you chose to accent this. Beautifully done.
