I love abstract art - every time you look at it - depending on your mood you see something different. Today I tried making my own piece based loosely on this abstract painting I dragged an assortment of acrylic paints over my cardstock using the edge of an old credit card. While it was drying, I stamped my Unity girl, colored with prismacolor pencils and blended with gamsol and fussy cut the image. Mounted just a strip of my abstract art onto the blue card base. Then adhered my stormy weather girl gluing her feet to the base and using mounting foam to lift the rest of the image. . . .Oops - she was still "floating" as I forgot to put in ground shadow so quickly unstuck the feet colored in some pavement then reglued those toes!

It's funny, when I was younger I wasn't much into abstract art but I LOVE it now and want to create it!! You created a gorgeous piece! Love the painting paired with my all-time favorite Unity girl!

Wow! I love your abstract art and also the pretty girl image. We just use everything in our craft, don't we? Credit cards are good for more than purchasing things, right? I love this!

This is incredibly creative! It looks as though she stepped out of the abstract storm and right into the calm. The storm is behind her as she keeps walking! Wonderful!
