This is for the color challenge of pear pizzazz, daff. delight and white. I stamped the flower in Versafine Clair nocturne and colored with the SU blendabilites- (disc). I used a versamark pen in the center of the flower and used the mixed media powder. I also used the black glaze pen to accent the lines in the flower and a bit of gold metallic pen as well. I stamped the sentiment "A day all about you" in the V.C. Cheerful which is a bright yellow. It did not really show up all that well, so I stamped the shape from Banners for You in V.C. nocturne. Glued the ribbon piece on with Ranger Multi Medium Matte. tfl

This is just beautiful Shirl. You have colored this poppy to the 9's and added your special little touches that I love so much. What a neat way to do this sentiment to follow the lines of the card and the flower. I am thinking I "need" this flower stamp now that I have seen what you are doing with it. The recipient will be so thrilled with this beauty when they get it in the mail. ~Karen.
Beautiful poppy! I love how you made the sentiment go up along the side with the accent piece. Such a good reminder that they don't always have to go sideways. ;)
