Today's WT: Fancy Folds. When Karen (Redbugdriver) sent me an easel Christmas card, I kept looking at it and wanted to make one. Well, today was the day!
Last week's FS was Craftymerla or Sally. Congratulations to you, Sally! I really enjoyed browsing through your gallery and picked this beauty. I liked everything about this card, so I used my cross with eggplant and gold foil with a gold brad in the center. I colored my floral with markers direct to stamp (love the soft look) and die-cut. Sponged and added a green frame then embossed the white piece. For the bottom, I used the long edge of the ef and that's how I was able to add the last edge of tulips. Sentiment is embossed in Gold. Sally, I hope you enjoyed your time in the spotlight! Thanks for stopping by! ~Roberta

So pretty. I like the little floral sprays tucked around the beautiful gold cross. Wonderful soft sponging, too. And what a great use of the ef - I wouldn't have thought of trying to use that frame for anything other than a full card front but it looks fantastic.

Roberta, this is gorgeous! I love how you have used the EF here. I would have never come up with this idea, but now I'm stealing it! I love the gold on the purple color as well. I am so honored and humbled by your participation and love that my card inspired this magnificent work of art. The recipient is sure to be filled with hope everlasting. Gorgeous!
