For Rebeccaâs technique challenge, coloring on Kraft cardstock.
Stamped the flower image in Versamark and heat set with copper EP. Colored image with prismacolor pencils. Because of the pale colors of the pencils, the flower image has a translucent look similar to Vellum IRL.
Fussycut the image and popped up on foam dots.
Added stamped splatters in Versamark to background for a tone on tone effect.
A friend and former colleague is retiring after 36 1/2 years of service. He was never one for much color, and think he will like the neutrality of this color scheme.
Thanks for looking.

Fabulous fussy cutting! It would be a dream come true to sit and fussy cut with you all day long jeannie. I hope you are enjoying a nice little break after your amazing creations for the DD team.

This is a terrifically interesting card even with the neutral coloring. REALLY endearing with the fussy cut flowers. I bet he loved this card! I enjoyed browsing your gallery tonight, and really enjoyed your desert scene card. i think we all stepped up and sent a lovely assortment of cards to Lori's SIL with the injured feet. She will really be brightened by them all! thanks for your encouraging comments on my card, you are always so kind and uplifting. I love this community of crafters and the inspiration and joy i get when i am on this site. so grateful, thanks! Teresa

What a fabulous retirement card this is for a man or a woman. The color scheme is very sophisticated and the copper embossing adds a bit of rustic elegance to this flower bunch. I have really enjoyed this stamp set myself and have never once thought to emboss this flower before so thank you for the great inspiration on this Jeannie. I also love the bit of burlap ribbon and how you placed the flowers and sentiment on the burlap. This is one amazing card my friend! ~Karen.
