Haven't made a gate fold card for a while. I put a magnet strip behind the sentiment panel and under the bottom part of the right hand panel to help keep the card closed. I did the same thing under the neck and head of the flamingo. I used the out of the box technique there and fussy cut just that part of the flamingo out so the card could open and leave the bird uncut. This will be going to my Granddaughter who was just accepted to a very competitive art program for next school year.

This is fabulous! I love your out of the box technique for the flamingo and the stamping that is continuous on the background as well as the sentiment. Wonderful and perfect for your granddaughter. Congratulations to her!

A magnet strip - brilliant!! I was wondering how you kept it closed. I love your sentiment, it goes perfectly with your awesome flamingo!!! Great bg too!
