This is my finished view of my case of a card by Melanie Woodard. I had no measurements, just figured it out for myself. May or may not have been how she did it, but it worked for me. There are 3 pictures posted.
Measurements:
Soft Suede base 4-1/4 x 9-7/8. Lay horizontally and score down short side at 4-3/8. There will be 2 sections now, the upper section is 4-1/4 x 4-3/8; the lower section is 4-1/4 x 5-1/2. This card is a vertical presentation.
Front panel â these are placed on the front section that measures 4-1/4 x 4-3/8.
4-1/2 square Sahara Sand, emboss with Cooregated EF, trim to 4-1/4 x 4 after embossing. This EF pattern will take up some of the length or width depending on how you place it. You get a nicer fit if you trim after embossing.
2-3/4 square from the lightest Wood Textures DSP pattern â sponge and stamp rooster/wheat
2-7/8 square Soft Suede
3 in square Tranquil Tide cropped with Stitched Shapes framelits.
Inside center portion square sentiment - 3-1/2 square white and 3-5/8 square Tranquil Tide.
Inside/lower portion narrow sentiment â 1-1/4 x 4 in white and 1-3/8 x 4-1/8 Tranquil Tide.
Tab panel -- 1-1/2 x 8-1/2 Soft Suede. Lay horizontally and score 1 end down short side at 2-1/8, flip it and score the other end at 2-1/8. The center back of the strip is glued across the bottom edge of the card base, score lines should hit at the left and right edges of the base, fold the tabs around the front, meeting in the middle with the tab ends free.
Front of tabs â cut 2 pieces 1-1/4 x 1-7/8 Sahara Sand, stamp wheat, glue on top of the outside front of folded tabs.
When you fold the finished card flat, fold in the tabs first, then flip down the rooster panel. The rooster panel overlaps the tabs about 1/4 inch. I found this extra length made the card stand up better and not fall forward or back because the rooster panel rests on the slightly opened tabs for display.
