Now this is where I would really like to be - with Seabastian Seahorse - in all the glorious colours of a underwater coral reef - at sunset.
I stamped Seabastian onto a water coloured panel using Misti to get a really nice dark image and then clear embossed him. Second stamp on white card. I then sponged the white card image with distress inks. Fussy cut out Seabastian's body and layered it up on the water coloured panel. Stronger distress inks were then added to the sea horse and he was highlighted with paint pens and glitter pens.
Then I was let loose with the glitter glue and liquid pearls to add lots of sparkle to the underwater scene.
A friend of mine asked me the other day when I was out if I had washed my face that morning - I wondered why she asked me that rather personal question - and she laughed and said that I had sparkles of glitter over my face. A true craft person indeed.
Hope you enjoy.

Oh, I LOVE your colorful background!!!!! How much fun the contrast of Sebastian against the coral at sunset and the "glow" you have after finishing off the card with glitter! Thank you for sharing!

I'm proud to wear glitter on my face but boy is it hard to get off. it's almost like you have to use your fingernail to scrape it off. i used so much at Christmas, i'm still finding it all over the place. back to your card: IT IS WONDERFUL! AND IN MY FAVORITES. That seahorse....awesome.

Wow! Fabulous card and awesome colors. So, you let loose with the glitter, huh? I had a chuckle about that and the question your friend asked. True crafter, indeed. Love your card.
