This week's mixability challenge is to make an array of sunshine. Rainbow or sunset. I decided to use STAMPlorations It's a Girl Thing- Sunshine set. Because of course it had the word Sunshine in the title. I stamped two of the flowers 5 times. I watercolored the flowers making sure to leave lots of white areas. I fussy cut the flowers and shaped them. I added yellow floral filler to the centers as well as rainbow glass glitter. The rainbow background was done with cheap water soluble markers scribbled onto my gel plate. I then sprayed with water and placed the white cardstock down on it. I covered that with Elmer's glue and white paint to make it distressed barnwood. I used the markers to color the floral filler green. I attached a tag with one of the shaped flowers and a key. I wrapped the tag and card with gold thread. I die cut the butterfly out of white cardstock and added rhinestones. I made it an easel card. The easel is propped open with a stack of glued hearts. The top heart was out of the same rainbow distressed barnwood print. I drew the key hole onto the heart.

Marilyn - I love the look of that background. It makes me think of a pastel rainbow of cracked and peeling paint and absolutely lovely look for all your embellishments - they are like frosting on the cake!
