Diane, you brought a fun sketch this week. One I wrapped my brain 'round. I've been waiting for an
opportunity to use this Rubber Moon hearts and world and sentiment.
I stamped directly to my card base, embossing the image and coloring the hearts with Copics. The world is from Co-Motion. I used Neenah paper, embossing with clear and then used Tim Holtz Distress Ink pens to color the oceans. Once I place the world inside the larger stamp, I stamped the hearts again on another piece of Neenah. The hearts were colored and I fussy cut the ones in front to complete the Circle of Love.
The sentiment was inked in Adirondack 'Wild Plum'.
Even using a stamp positioner, if you don't perfectly ink the stamp, it can look like a splat with some letters thicker than others...I strongly dislike that! I added a bit of Washi tape on the borders to mimic another layer. The days of the months.
Love does indeed make the world go 'round. Kinda of like your favorite carousel! The perfect ride.

My ride was rather bumpy but there are many kinds of love. For some reason, I'm singing 'Around the World in 80 Days.' I love that stamp. Is it one stamp or two?
