It is my pleasure to be your hostess in the Color Challenge this week. The colors I've chosen are Early Espresso, Peekaboo Peach and Balmy Blue. Here in the Pacific Northwest, we have had a record amount of snowfall. The midwest and eastern parts of the US have been deluged with huge amounts of snow, too, and I imagine most of us are ready for spring. With that hope in mind, I've chosen "butterflies" as the dessert option.
Raise your hand if you hoard your pretty patterned papers! I am raising mine! I've decided I need to start using some of it up (since I keep buying it!). These papers can help you create a beautiful card in very little time. I used this pretty butterfly paper as the theme for my card and sponged Vintage Photo Distress Oxide ink all along the edges. Then I stamped the sentiment, added a die-cut butterfly for dimension, popped that layer up on fun foam, and attached it to the blue card base. I covered the butterfly with my Tonic glitter brush, and added a few sequins. Done!
Thanks for stopping by, and please play along with us this week!

Wow, Barbara, I see why you hoarded that paper - it is beautiful. This card is so pretty! Love the happy sentiment and your extra butterfly popped up. Lovely, and it does underscore our hope Spring is around the corner. Many hugz
