I was working on a different page and had cut this heart as a mask but ended up preferring this over what I had begun. Saw my dp scrap and love the combo with red. I sponged along the edges and cut my corner to match my journal page. This page already had some coffee staining. I crumpled my heart and added some coffee to it (I keep a jar of isopropyl alcohol mixed with instant coffee). I ran a silver ink pad over the wrinkles too. I have written a wedding blessing that was originally in a Western movie that I saw in a mystery nover but it matches up with Scriptural teaching from Genesis 2 :24 ....and they shall become one flesh.
Now you will feel no rain
For each of you will be shelter for the other
Now you will feel no cold
For each of you will be warmth for the other
Now there is no loneliness for you
Now there is no more loneliness
Now you are two persons, but there is one life before you.
Go now to your dwelling place
To enter into the days of your togetherness
And may your days be good and long upon this earth

What a great thing to journal!! These journals we leave behind will be such heirlooms in years to come. Especially when they have handwritten bits of knowledge and wisdom we have reflected on in our lives. What an inspiration!
