I love snow days. I love having the kids home. And here in our area, today marks Snow Day #10. Sure, we'll probably have to make it up. But what better thing than to have your kids home unexpected...to bake for them, have special meals. As little kids there were forts and snuggles...and now the teens have time to get extra sleep.
I love seeing them...or at least knowing they are in the house, even when they are holed up in their beds! haha..
I love snow days!

Your children have a very loving mom, and creative too. Love this sweet card.

Dawn, I was a teacher and LOVED snow days more than my kids! Your background is just beautiful! I love the sparkly sentiment as well. Such a cute card and a wonderful mom.

Snow cute!! Love the wonky edges on the square. The little snowman is adorable. Super sparkle! The strip of red plaid gives it the homespun look. Great card! Terrific backstory and how you relate it to the Love theme for COF February challenge. Very nicely done. TFS

You have such a bright outlook! Most moms I know would be going crazy with so many snow days, LOL.
This card is spectacular. I love the glistening winter scene, and the red plaid is like a cozy blanket. Perfect!

Holy cow! Snow day number 10! We haven't even gotten three inches of snow here yet this winter. Though we may get some this week, and I will also enjoy the snow day. Fun card, Dawn!

I love your surprising color combination, and the way there are large and small areas of interest – – you know large green and small green. Thanks for sharing!
