A little thank you card for Curtis, the bus driver, and his wife for their generosity, giving the student riders personalized gifts. Using my MISTI, I kept partially inking and over-stamping the sentiment with different colors of DO colors. Outlined them with a fine tipped Pitt Pen. I used a Darice EF for the crayon borders. I had to use a thick watercolor paper, because regular card stock kept tearing and warping with this folder. The WC paper warped, too, and I had to cut off the bad parts. Less to color with the crayons, I suppose. I especially like the crayon lines, connecting to the sentiment. The bus is a puffy sticker and I found 3 teensy more gift stickers to put in the windows. Cut the clouds with the Scan N Cut using sticker paper. A fun card to make.

That crayon ef is super, such a shame that it was so hard to use. I have a couple like that. I've read that lightly misting the card before embossing can help, but I can't say I've ever remembered to try it. The way you did the sentiment looks fantastic, and I like the picture book cloudy sky behind your little school bus. Adding the gifts in the window is a brilliant finishing touch.

Oh wow Lori, you should get an entire tray of cookies, you sure nailed the challenge. Curtis and his wife will be over the moon when they see all the work that went into this. Great way to use the MISTI!!!!

This is such a fantastic card. I admire your persistence in getting these crayons on your card by switching to watercolor paper. I love the crayons and how they all point to your wonderful sentiment. But, my heart skipped a beat when I looked up and saw all of those presents in the windows of the bus. I have a feeling Curtis's heart will skip a beat too when he opens this fabulous card up from you. ~Karen.

EEEEE! I love the gift stickers in the windows! And the way cool technique on the stamped sentiment. Our cards for this challenge have a lot in common--the sentiment and finding the perfect stickers in our stash. Here's to using the whole box of crayons, my friend!
