I started by making the bands of color inking masking tape with 3 different colors, then stamped the sentiment and layered on the glossy red base, I die cut the poppies (a birthday gift from my dear friend Sabrina) out of Canson paper and colored them with markers, die cut a circle and glued the poppies together used foam tape to pop them up, finally I added little dots in the upper corner.

I have never done the masking tape tech. It looks great on your card with those little poppies in RED.

Oh, very pretty! That tape technique is fun, I really should do it more often. It was great for the CAS - as was the tiny poppy. I think so far I've only used mine once on an ATCoin.

Love how that technique turned out for these strips of color.
