This type of card is actually hard for me, because there are so many surfaces to fill. It took me 3 days to complete the card, because I didn't know what to do with it. I made the base, then added the DP, and then it sat. Then I added the black strip and left it overnight, hoping for more inspiration. I wanted to use flowers, so I stamped and punched, sponged and glued, and then again was stumped as to how to lay them out, so I left it overnight again. Finally, today, I was able to sit down and figure it out.
I've had the burst into bloom stamp set for years and rarely used it, but I discovered that one of the flowers fit perfectly in my medium daisy punch, making it easy to stamp and punch multiples. How cool is that?
I also discovered that rounding the one corner on each layer really softened the look of the card and was a big improvement.

Very pretty. It might have taken time to come together but it was worth the wait. I find some folds are like that...even still I struggle with the trifold shutter and never know how to decorate it. Nice discovery that the punch matches the flower, makes life easier!
