I tried the
Resourceful Art Journaling that Helen had in the tutorial section, I have tissue paper that has been in my stash for ages and anything that uses tissue paper I will try!! It was a fun and playful technique to use what I had on hand to make my page.
I "painted" the page with Elmers glue (I don't have or couldn't find my Moge Podge) then added some tissue paper, painted again with Elmers, let dry some then gave a light coat of white gesso. Added some modeling paste and used some magic mesh to add texture. After that dried I spritzed it a bit with Color bloom and took a piece of foil left from a heat wave foil and using my fingernail applied it to several areas of the page. Next I added some stamping and stencil work a little Washi tape and whatever else I could find on my desk.
Obviously this is not a 12x12 page but I was not going to do two separate posts.
