I made this card for the letter L Alphabet challenge. The L in this card is for the water colored leaves. I went over these leaves about 4 times because they were being shy and did not want to show any colors. Then all of a sudden, the were too vibrant so I set the leaves aside to dry. Then I took the door frame embossing folder and added TH Antique Linen ink to one side of the embossing folder, placed my cardstock inside, and ran the folder through my cuttlebug to get the inked details. The pumpkins are stamped in 3 layers and the stems in 2 layers, then I fussy cut them out. I also fussy cut the leaves out after they were thoroughly dry. This card went to a special gal who had moved into a new home so I added the welcome banner to the wreath. As you can see, there are green leaves on the trees behind this card because I made it last fall. I have been wrestling with uploading it ever since I made it because my water coloring skills leave a lot to be desired. I decided to post it today because I am behind on posting cards for the alphabet challenge so I am choosing to not be so picky. Thanks for looking today. ~Karen.

This is lovely, Karen! I'm glad you uploaded it. I really like the effect you achieved with the embossing folder. Your leaves are gorgeous and what a lot of wonderful fussy cutting. Beautiful card!
