This is for the new Sketch Challenge by Carey and last week Ways to Use It Challenge hosted by Toni to use a bicycle.
When I saw this creative layout, I liked the movement. I thought of a road with arrow directional signs, probably due to all the on-going road construction around us. Then I remembered the WTUI challenge I missed last week. I love this bicycle image with the flowers flying out of the basket; and with it, I like to use this wavy sentiment and a Kaleidacolor rainbow ink pad. I used the same ink to color in the image with a blender pen. I rummaged through my scrap drawer for pieces of patterned paper in coordinating colors to use for the arrows. (The color matches are not perfect but are better than what shows in my cloudy day photo.)
To make my arrows, I cut four paper strips in the width I wanted (just under 2" ) and then I used partial die-cutting with a square Framelit on three of the strips. Most of the paper strip hung off the end of the cutting plate; the die was turned so the corner of the square was at the end of the short side, making sure the other corners hung off the plate. When the strip ran through my Big Shot only the end section was cut into a point.
Terrific challenges! Thanks for looking.

love this card and your movement idea-it all ties together so well- thanks for the tip on how you cut the arrows or chevron shape- I couldn't figure out how to cut it until I found a house die and used the trim part.

Your card has such wonderful movement Diane! Love the sentiment and the way you stamped it with different colours. The cheerful summertime DP's look great!

This is such a fantastic card Diane - so fun and so celebratory too! I forget to use my Kaleidocolor ink pads so thank you for the reminder because this wavy sentiment looks so fabulous done in the multiple colors like this. Your wave banners are perfect for where your fun pink bicycle is going too. ~Karen.
