Beautiful colors this week. With the addition of the lace dessert I decided to something different than my usual style. I don't have any actual lace to add so I used a lace stamp in the background. I then distressed it by ripping the side and sponging the edges.
For my floral image I used the Stampin' Up watercolor pencils in Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive and Early Espresso. They don't make a Crumb Cake pencil, but EE is a neutral in any case. I used it to add shadow to the leaves. The background leaves are cut from Old Olive CS and then tipped with the Crumb Cake ink.
I used gold thread to "tie" my bundle of flowers together and then popped it up with foam dots.
I hope you will join us this week for the color challenge!

Such a lovely vintage look you've created Jeanne! The lace stamped background is a perfect choice for dessert and looks fabulous behind the pretty floral bouquet!

Wow, wow, wow! Jeanne, the coloring on your flowers is amazing! So beautiful! I thought about using that same lace background stamp; it looks great on your card, especially with the distressing!
