Fun Mixability Challenge this week to add text to our cards. Mixed media used - dry embossing on vellum, liquid pearls, white gel pen, ink, sponged c/s for butterfly.
I randomly coloured with A white gel pen on the back of the embossed vellum, before adhering to Coastal Cabana C/S. Stamped the text and adhered to centre panel. Die cut the butterfly from a mixed media piece already in my stash and added the liquid pearls to the centre of the butterfly. Also used the liquid pearls around the edges.
TFL!

This looks terrific Sue. I never have any success with vellum, you have inspired me to give it another go. Good night for the tennis, the cricket looks done and dusted!

That vellum bg is really unique....I would never have thought to use a white gel pen and I have to admit I've not had luck with embossed vellum so like Susie I may try it again. Lovely card....you've been busy in your craft room (must be a break in the tennis action).

Love this look with the embossed vellum and coloring random circles with white gel...the Coastal Cabana underlay makes it look like a patterned paper with circles, but I'm sure in RIL it is much more stunning! Love the platinum edging and the die-cut frame for your lovely butterfly. A lovely card!

Quite the lovely frame and background for your magnificent butterfly! Wonderful idea to use a white gel pen on the backside of the embossed dots and the Coastal Cabana panel provides such great color behind the vellum. Totally gorgeous!
