Sabrina has a timely WTUI challenge for us, I Herby Resolve , for crafting goals. I resolve to use my stash. I have a 5" stack of images that I've already colored, an 8" stack of inked and/or embossed backgrounds, plus pre stamped and die cut sentiments. Time to put them to good use! This card supports two additional resolutions, to get together with those I love more and to send the cards I make. This on its way to my dearest friend. We've been friends since she was 4 and I was 7. We met for lunch last week and plan to get together again soon. Thought a card would be a good reminder!
The AI girls were in my pre colored stash, I added a few details and cut them out. Stash bg pieces are the embossed brick bg and woodgrain bar. I die cut a candelabra (had the die for a year without using) from black cs and vellum. Cut off the black candles, replaced with vellum and added Crystal Glaze for the light fixtures. Adhered pieces to brick ef and black card base. Stamped the sentiment, sponged with ink and popped it with foam tape. Stamped a flourish above and below sentiment to complete. TFL

What wonderful resolutions, Carla, and what a fabulous card for your friend...all from putting pieces together from your stack! I have two dear friends. Every Christmas they get a calendar from me and we mark a date in each month to get together.

Fab papers and textures to go with your AI ladies enoying their large glasses of wine. I'm with Julie, it's a very classy setting with the black die-cut looking like some fancy wrought iron.

I bet your friend will think this is the two of you to a tee. That sentiment is so funny and your resolutions are great ones.
