I used a brick wall stencil for my open one, stencilling with yellow, then laid the SU one over and sponged with blue. Added a die-cut border and stamped sentiment, then my fussy-cut cat. In the tin on my desk I found some MFT flowers which were just the right colour, and a butterfly die-cut from a bit of cling-wrap starch background, which I edged and highlighted with Sakura markers because otherwise it would totally have blended into the background.

Really an adorable card and your choice of which 2 stencils to use is TERRIFIC, Sabrina. That was the BIG part of the challenge, IMO.....some combinations just work better than others....and yours are spot on.

I love, love, love this birthday card and so will the recipient. Your stenciling on this brick wall is just fabulous. I love the image you used for the 2nd stencil. This adorable kitty reminds me of our dear boy Julio that we had for nearly 18 years- he was such a luv bug - just like this fella is. The grass, flowers, and butterfly are the purrfect finishing touches on this wonderful card. ~Karen.
