Carla is this week's hostess for the WTUI challenge and you'll be able to find her challenge HERE.
I started with my foil tape background, cutting numbers and stars (also MFT) from chipboard and sticking them to a piece of card. Then I added my strips of foil, and burnished round ask the die-cuts with a stylus. Rather than the usual black I used gold and white acrylic paints and then brushed on some rusty patina finish. I added more white paint around the edges, Stickles, and white Enamel Accents, then added it to my card base.
The Penny Black image was stamped on watercolour paper and coloured with Inktense pencils.

Love your foil bg, Sabrina! Adding chipboard and foil tape over the top gives so much room for creativity. Combined with those sweet mice it makes for an adorable birthday card! Thanks for the marvelous sample.

I am always so amazed by your fabulous backgrounds, Sabrina! Your foiled numbers are gorgeous...love the touches of gold and paint! Of course the critter party is adorable, too!

I'm always impressed how you "go all out" with your challenge samples, Sabrina. The numbered bg is TERRIFIC....and the main image is adorable and colored beautifully.
