Pam is our hostess in the Color Challenge this week, and she has given us great Valentine colors: Powder Pink, Real Red and Silver. The dessert option is hearts.
I'm an on-again, off-again Paper Pumpkin subscriber, and I was underwhelmed by the December kit. Since I didn't want to make an 18-month calendar, I decided to use some of the calendar pages as the basis for birthday cards. This card went to my friend, Holly. You can probably guess that today is her birthday!
The DS paper is from a Hero Arts kit from at least a year ago. I die cut the calendar, then punched and die-cut a bunch of hearts. I covered the pink and red hearts by shmooshing them into an embossing ink pad, then covered them with like-colored glittery embossing powder and heat set them.
Thanks for stopping by, and please play along with us this week!

Oh boy, do I love those glittery hearts! And what a great idea to use those calendar pages for a birthday card! Awesome. Today is my Raleigh's birthday today too. I can't believe my baby is four!
