This is for the Crafters of Faith Monthly Challenge. Kelly gave us an inspirational theme of using rock(s) and the scripture verse 1 Samuel 2:2. Today, January 7th is posting day and it happens to also be Old Rock Day.
My image was inked by marker directly on the stamp â the mountains in Gray Granite, Smokey Slate, Sahara Sand, Lost Lagoon and the tree line with River Rock and Old Olive. Then I misted it with water and made the impression. Above the scene, I stamped the verse beginning with the words The Lord is my Rock. I decided to make this strip into a removable bookmarker.
I had fun using rock colors â Gray Granite, River Rock, Sahara Sand, Smokey Slate and also Old Olive for Old Rock Day. I love using my scripture stamps. This one does not have the scripture reference so I handwrote it, Psalm 18:2.
My card is taller to accommodate the bookmark and I have a vanilla envelope to fit it. Thank you Kelly for an awesome challenge. The Lord is truly our Rock! Thank you for looking.

Spectacular! I love that granite gray background as well. I love that you made a removable bookmark. That is an interactive card at its best, if you ask me. Great card, Diane!
