My closest counterpart took another job, and I had planned to make her a happy/congratulations card (MMTPT545 - Teapotter's Choice) with her fast-approaching final day being this Tuesday, but knowing I'm a carmaker, other coworkers in my office nominated me last Thursday make a card for her from all of us. ... So there goes the time I had to make her a card from just me, but alas I'll plan to send her a "missing you" card in the future instead. .
The challenges this week proved integral to this design as I had limited time to dream up a design plan (I'd already volunteered to make gourmet cupcakes for the occasion before being volunteered to make this card!). This was my first time trying embossing folder stamping, and I think I learned a few things in the process that may make it turn out better next time! (I've still got a lovely Bermuda Bay stained thumb to prove this is the real deal, though! Lol)
Thanks so much for the incredible help of the ideas from our challenge hostesses this week, and thank you for viewing my card!
Blessings,
C

Those co-workers know just the person to make the card. It's beautiful and I really like your combo of colors.

Lovely colours and card for your co-worker. I like the way you used the same folder for both stamping and embossing. I have a stamp and ef that match...and it took far too long to realise that if I embossing folder stamped and then stamped with the stamp, I would have a mirrored effect...which looks great here but didn't work for me.

Wow! What a challenge combo! I love the juxtaposition of the EF stamping with the straight embossed piece. Perfect for the sketch! Plus it looks great in the colors! You rocked all four challenges!

This is so pretty in so many ways! I love how you combined all of the challenges into your design.
