I immediately thought of the Sizzix Old Jalopy die when I read Sabrina's challenge. I die cut the jalopy out of black cs and packaging from a TH die. The packaging has a mottled mix of browns that gives a rusty look. I trimmed the brown layer to expose the tires inserted acrylic between the layers and cut the trim from a scrap of silver. I smacked my embossing buddy over the acrylic and covered with glaze mixed with brown ink to make the windows nice and grimy.
For the bg, I sponged an old Atlas map with ink. Die cut and stamped the gas pump. Embossed kraft cs with Spellbinders brick, then Darice brick folders to get texture and brick size proportioned to the jalopy. Trimmed and crimped gray cs for the roof. Die cut trees, trimmed to fit and sponged with green inks. Layered it all on a kraft card base. Stamped and embossed the sentiment to complete.
