This is my card for CC720. Barbara is our hostess and she has chosen so saffron, bermuda bay, and blackberry bliss for her color trio. Dessert Option this week is ribbon.
This is also my sample for SC730. Cathy is our hostess and she gave us a great layout for our cards.
I needed a birthday card for my hubby. His special day was December 28th. I made him a card with a sweater on it because as soon as the weather gets a little cooler out come his sweaters.
One of the 20 somethings at church started calling him sweater man. A little joke that he thought was funny. He laughed when he saw this card.
The sweater is a die from CottageCutz. I used the blackberry bliss and so saffron for my sweater colors.
The birthday sentiment is a die from PaperTrey Ink. I cut that in blackberry bliss. My background designer paper is from the Stampin'-Up "sweet pea" collection.
I used the Argyle embossing folder to give a bit of texture to the image panel. I used blackberry bliss thick bakers twine in place of ribbon. So I will take a half serving of dessert (lol)!!!
Hope you can join in with us this week. We have some fun colors and sketch, and we would love to see how you use them on a card or project.
