I'm sorry my sample wasn't ready for this week's sketch challenge. My mojo and steam have been running on fumes these past few weeks leading up to Christmas. Despite the hustle and bustle, and my daughter in law losing the tip of her thumb slicing onions, it was a wonderful Christmas, Hope your holiday was fun and festive.
I followed Ally's sketch design with the exception of moving the rectangle to the left so it would work better for the image. The die cut square borders are a dark navy but seem to appear black in the photo. I've had my eye on this sweet snowman stamp set and finally ordered it in November, but haven't had a chance to ink it up until now. I colored the image with distress markers, forgot to color his arms before the upload (shoulder shrug) and meant to add some snowflake sequins (sigh, another shoulder shrug). I doodled and dotted a border around the sentiment with tumbled glass marker and edged it by dragging the brush tip of the stormy sky marker around the perimeter.
Thanks for looking!
