Yeah, yeah, yeah...what a great choice for Featured Stamper, Kittie! lacyquilter, Melody. I was surprised to find Melody had not been chosen before. What a gallery and what a supportive member of our community! Melody, I had a wonderful LONG stroll through your gallery. Wish I had more time...It was this twisted box by lacy quilter that I had to try.
Now normal people might make a template...but not me...I got out my favorite DP and gorgeous SU green and immediately commenced to creating. Melody did warn that the instructions were a bit unclear (couldn't find a SCS tutorial for the twisted box). I struggled through and will definitely make another...but first a template. I had to stamp the Merry Christmas after the box was made!!! Also my cutting the DP panels made some wonky...so if you want them to be exactly the same...take care the direction you cut the rectangle. BUT even with all that...I love this little box. I am going to put two truffles in each end and gift it tomorrow.
I am also putting it in the DEC18 VSN 'Holiday Stories' gallery...Christmas in the Country! Forgive me TexasGrammy for taking a slight detour...I am still in the country with my handmade box and sewing trims...
Melody, I hope you enjoy all the cards made in your honor. You are an adventurous paper artist. The variety in your gallery and your use of your supplies often speaks to your talent!
Thanks for stopping by...

WOW I am so impressed Susan, that is one of those projects that I can totally love to see other people do and would whimper if asked to create ( with no directions no less) ahhhh
