At todayâs Tea Party, weâre celebrating a 99th birthday! When I saw that Irene likes jigsaw puzzles and knitting, I pictured this card in my mind. I fit this sweet Digi into a puzzle piece shape and printed it out. Then I used my ScanNCut to cut inside the lines of the puzzle piece, so there would be no border. I saved the negative cut to stencil a shadow for the piece to fit into. I donât know why, but I was in a purple mood today. After I colored the mice, I went digging through my box of paper to find a background. I was trying to use some old paper and this was just the right choice. Then I found a scrap of small purple cardstock just right for the sentiment. I hope Irene enjoys all her cards!

The puzzle piece is wonderful with the little knitting mice! Irene does her jigsaws almost by feel since her eye sight is failing. It's pretty amazing that she still knits and picks up new patterns to try as well. Your card will mean a lot to her. It's in one of her favourite colours; you really knocked this challenge out of the park!

What a super fun card with the puzzle piece and the knitting mice Jennifer. The purple works great and I totally love the layers you added with the shadow piece too. Irene is going to just love this fun card.
