Karen is hosting this week and she has chosen the combination of Petal Pink, Mint Macaron and Highland Heather, with the dessert option to add stripes. To me, these colors seem 1940's retro, especially the pink and mint together. I decided to make a fun coffee themed card that would work either for a friend or a sweetheart.
The coffee cups were stamped, masking the tall cup to add the whipped cream, then fussy cut and added to the die cut circle. The Highland Heather card base looked a bit bare, so I stamped it with a background stamp and white pigment ink to add a subtle background.
Thanks so much for looking! I hope you'll join us in the Color Challenge this week!

When I grow up, I want to be able to Copic color like you do! You created amazing depth with those markers! I love the way you colored your coffee cups, and that background stamp looks perfect--so subtle and yet it adds such interest!
