I miss the cardinal's song. I'll hear it again soon. We do have them here in the winter, they just don't sing very much.
This is what I was inspired by. I like the yellow. I know yellow cardinals exist but we don't have them. http://shop.christmasplace.com/Winte...-Disc-Ornament
I actually like the female better, more interesting and love how the beak color stands out.

I didn't know there were yellow cardinals! So fun to learn something new! We have a family of cardinals and they always look so pretty either in the green branches or against the gray branches in winter. Such a fun surprise to see them on the rare snowy day. They chirp and chirp. Your card is gorgeous! Full of warmth!

This is such a pretty background for your Cardinal silhouette and I love the colors you've combined on this card. I love Cardinals and we have many that visit our feeders; I think the females are just as lovely as the males, as well!

Such a pretty cardinal. I have learned something new today...count me as one that didn't know there were yellow cardinals, though we do have a lot of cardinals here in my southern part of the country. Very pretty card.

A very pretty card, the yellow cardinal is very rare and is thought to be deficient in something in their diet that causes the colouration. Pretty non the less.

Your cardinal card really does glow with that beautiful background! I knew that there are yellow cardinals from National Geographic, but they are very rare. We have a lot of cardinals year round - they are particularly pretty against a background of snow.
