Ways to Use It: This is the first time Iâve made a window like this. I think itâs pretty nifty
Teapot Tuesday Challenge: Weâre making geography cards for Ruth. Iâm from Michigan and I had three ideas and finally decided on the Mackinac Bridge (Mighty Mac). It connects the lower peninsula to the upper peninsula. It also marks the dividing line between Lake Michigan and Lake Huron.
Very close by is Mackinac Island. Itâs my favorite place to vacation. Itâs a step back in time. No motorized vehicles are allowed on the island except for a fire engine and paramedic.

I enjoyed reading all you've shared about the Mackinac Bridge and how it is the dividing line between Lake Michigan and Lake Huron; I know Mother will greatly enjoy learning about your home state of Michigan. You've created a great nautical themed card with that fancy window treatment! Thank you for coming to Mother's tea party and helping her celebrate her 90th birthday!

Great framing of your lovely scene. I wondered if that was where it was - one of my favourite old books has the closing scenes set on Mackinac Island, if I'm remembering aright. A step back in time sounds great, so relaxing. What a great double challenge card.

I actually have heard of Mighty Mac. When I worked for my old company we use to have technicians that had to take tons of equipment to the island and they would have bikes to get to the locations. Well when they had ladders they were in for a real treat to get equipment to the locations. It was fun to listen to those stories. Great card to represent your area for the Teapot Tuesday challenge and I love the window you added. Thank you so much for playing along.

hey, Jen...what a fun card and use of the challenges as well. Your part of the country is on my bucket list...sounds divine. I love the idea of not motorized vehicles.
