Have a red card base, then white ran thru eb folder with cardboard oval in center to not emboss the center, added thin strips of dp paper on each side, stamped, a 2 step cardinal stamp, die cut it, die cut branches, 2 flourishes. Put branches down popped cardinal on them added the flourishes, computer generated sentiment to say Hello and where I am from and is state bird.---LOL--- the bird is same color of the sponging on sentiment but looks sorta pink after scanned---the darn printer!----fun challenge---will comment later as so far behind in everything due in part to hubby.

What a beautiful and unique two-step Cardinal image ... love the design on his body! The striped designer paper is a wonderful addition to your design, Donna Jeanne. Mother loves Cardinals and will greatly enjoy your card .... thank you for sharing the Ohio state bird and for coming to her tea party!

I like that Cardinal - I've never seen it before. Cardinals are the state bird for NC too. I love that your card looks wintery and festive but it's not really too Christmassy. Perfect for the season.
