Jeanne is our hostess in the Color Challenge this week, and she has given us a beautiful combination: Melon Mambo, Blushing Bride and Pear Pizzazz. The dessert option is foliage. No question, I get dessert this week!
I have been itching to break out this new-to-me set, First Frost. The way it stamps is remarkable! Tap, tap, tap on the ink pad and stamp once, to get the beautiful color variations. Amazing!
I subbed Tattered Rose Distress Oxide ink for the Blushing Bride (almost a perfect match!), so I could sponge through the stencil with ease onto Bristol paper. Stamped the green foliage, cut everything out with dies, sponged ink on the green leaves for depth, cut out a couple of branches from silver glimmer paper and arranged all around the lovely greeting.
Thanks for stopping by, and please play along in this week's challenge!

What a beautiful design, with the floral and leaf elements surrounding that wonderful sentiment! Love those lacy sprigs and the soft stenciled background. Absolutely gorgeous, Barbara!
