Thanks Sabrina for bringing back this old TLC...I have never done this, but it was such fun, it for sure won't be the last time I make wads of plastic wrap and ink on and ink off! SO MUCH FUN.
I used 5 distress inks in Festive Berries, Fired Brick, Spiced Marmalade, Dried Marigold, Picked Raspberries. On mixed media paper in a random way. The fun Stand Tall Giraffes were the perfect foil for that bold background. They were inked with Archival Black and then embossed with clear ep.
Cut a square and dry embossed the edges. Used Washi black star tape to add a bit of pop to the edges. That's all.
I can't wait to use this technique again. Thanks for stopping by. Can't wait to see what you create.

Fabulous, gorgeous results with the cling background! The colors are what I imagine to be a brilliant African dusk and the giraffes are a perfect image choice.

I love that giraffe image Susan! It looks spectacular against your fiery background. The embossing really adds great texture! It looks somewhat petroglyphic to me. (...but then...that's me)

I love these fiery colors (my favorite colors I might add) in the sky and of course, these awesome unique giraffes each with their own individual patterned neck. I have to file that idea about the washi tape, and of course this is headed to my favorites.

It's funny that already you're not the only giraffe(s) in the gallery, obviously the background lends itself to a safari jungle feel! And it's hot in your neck of the wilds with those wonderful dappled reds, like a vivid sunset. What sweet washi tape too - and of course, wonderful giraffes. I'm glad you had fun with this.

I love your giraffe card! ( I have a Pinterest board of giraffes as they are so majestic! )
Was in a hurry this morning and didn’t get a chance to see your card but obviously, great minds think alike! Great background!
