Once again, Susie Australia is taking us to the bustling town of Whykickamoocow for the annual festival. One of the highlights of the festival is the Miss Whykickamoocow competition, and (as I'm sure Susie will attest), the winner is often decided by the talent competition. My card depicts contestant Miss Daisy Humdinger showing off her unique talent -- walking a dog while wearing stiletto heels.
The card is pretty simple. The dress is paper pieced. I found a silvery die-cut border (I'm pretty sure someone sent me in a previous Tickle) that sort of looks like the tiara I'm sure Miss Kickamoocow gets to wear, and I used that behind the main image. The flags were simply free-hand cut from a leftover piece of cardstock, and I used a gel pen to indicate the string they are hanging from.

Oh la, la! I think we have a winner here, or at least a contender - the competition is fierce! I love Miss Daisy's stylish dress. She must have a talented make up artist friend because she's looking fab-u-lous darlin'.

Oh my, isn't she glam! I specialised in walking the dogs barefoot, even running up in the woods. Stilettos, never. Great paper piecing, and a super crown border - I think that's a sign that she's well up there. I love her little dog.

I am sure Miss Daisy Humdinger will win the beauty contest! After all it is difficult walking in stilettos while walking the dog! That takes a lot of practice ........what fun!

I can see it has taken years of practice to walk the dog in stilettos - wonder how many twisted ankles she has in the process. She is very well decked out in that lovely brocade dress and I am sure she will stun the judges on her entrance. My vote goes to Miss Luloo though - the donut eating contestant.
