I started this card for the Teapot Challenge 2 days ago but have only now just finished it as we have been busy these past few days helping our son & DIL move into their new house. I must admit I can hardly move today!!
Little Nellie is a mad country music fan and absolutely loves Kasey Chambers. When she heard about the music competition at the Whykickamoocow Festival she couldn't wait to enter! She practised and practised her favourite song, "Not Pretty Enough" and felt her performance went well. Competition was tough and she is sitting here awaiting the results.
I coloured the digi image using Prisma coloured pencils & a white gel pen for some highlights. Added the embossed frame, which I sponged in Real Red ink, and added the bunting & flowers.
If you are interested, Kasey Chambers is one of Australia's best musicians - she was inducted into Australian music's Hall of Fame last night at the ARIAS. The song I have chosen is my favourite of hers - worth checking it out! TFL!

What a great card Sue. Love your background story about entrants in the Whykickamoocow Talent Show. Yes - this little girl singing that very pretty song will win outright indeed. Wish we had got a bit more of the rain you received up in Sydney yesterday - we did alright out of it - but need some more rain to follow up. What a difference a few miles makes. Lawns are now turning from brown to greening.

What a sweet image...if her music is as sweet as she is I'm sure she'll win. I like how you did the little banners in the corner. Cute! I have not heard of Kasey C but then I'm not a country fan but perhaps I'll have to take a look. Congrats to Andrew and Kylie on their house! How wonderful!

You colored her beautifully, Sue! Love your added embellishments and framing. Loved your story too. Great work on this and while helping your son move in I can't imagine putting that much work into a card too!
