Love the colors Mary chose this week. Lemon Lime Twist is one of my all time favorites! When I saw the colors I had this card almost immediately designed in my head. And it turned out almost as I planned. However I thought that heat embossing in clear would seal whatever color was underneath. I was wrong. I stamped the tree in Tranquil Tide, then in Versamark and heat embossed in clear. When I added water to start the Lemon Lime Twist wash my Tranquil Tide started to bleed! Not a lot but enough. However the snowflakes stayed in place instead of running and the Tranquil Tide wash is fairly light. I ended up really liking how it blended with the Lemon Lime Twist!
I heat embossed the sentiment and for dessert I added a gold enamel star to the top of the tree.

The mix of Tranquil Tide and Lemon Lime Twist are one of my favorites when I watercolor, so I think your background turned out perfect, however inadvertent!! The snowflake Christmas tree has such beautiful detail and your CAS card design is wonderful Jeanne!
