I made this card for ABC challenge letter G and garden, a blue Gerbera daisy.
I used a 6" x 6" white card, added a navy patterned paper layer. I die cut several white pieces for the background. The Gerbera daisy was created with DuoTwists, 3D twisted pyramid design, which uses an image gradually cut down into smaller squares (7 squares). I then used tiny pop dots to adhere each square, twisting the image slightly with each square. This creates a pyramid-type look.

I love the beautiful rich deep blue color, and what a unique technique to use with your Gerber daisy! I'm with Melody, I thought it was some type of Iris fold...then I went to creating lines for the current Fan Club Monthly Themes challenge...oh my, I was getting carried away! Beautiful, Gracie, and I'm so glad you explanation set us straight...I think I must try it one day!
