Our newest Featured Stamper is The Cow Whisperer, Michele Wright. Thank you Kitty for introducing us to Michele. I chose Time for Tea Panel Card.
Michele has a video on the exact construction of this fun fold.
I kept the fold Michele chose. It was one I had never seen before and I thought it looked like a fun way to use patterned paper. I changed my theme from Tea to Coffee. Used different papers and color way.
Living in the PNW with lots of rain and grey, we LOVE our fancy coffees, kaffes, espressos, breve, and pour overs. I needed to make a card to go along with a gift card to a friend's favorite coffee shop. It was fun using 4 of Basic Grey's 'Barista' papers.
I stamped the coffee cup/sentiment (Stampendous) and embossed with Sea Foam White. My one construction issue is I used PaperTrey card stock which is stout. It holds nice folds, but I needed to build in a close. Once the envelope is opened, that card is going to burst forth. The coffee beans and that heart shaped coffee ring and drips is from the Altenew Coffee set. For the beans, I used generation stamping.
On the back is a small glassine envelope holding the gift card and a note to my friend.
Thanks for stopping by. Please have a look at the card unfolded. And if you know a better way to secure the fold, I'd love to hear. Happy Sunday, All.

Such an interesting fold; I see what you mean on how to secure it - no ideas from me. Those are gorgeous papers you used with your images.. Sweet card - it makes me smell the wonderful coffee aroma (the only thing I like about coffee!)

Great card. Susan! The yellows and browns are beautiful together and I love the white embossing on the coffee cup. Do you have any of the brown cup sleeves from a coffee shop? You could make a band from that to slip over the card. Could also crimp some kraft paper and make a band.
