I had part of a Pepsi can from something I made over a year ago and I even found it in just a minute or two. Out of the colorful parts I was able to cut two Christmas Stockings and a tiny tree and a bow. The snowflake was a bonus from the middle of one of the stockings. I wanted to make this a detachable bookmark to send to our granddaughter who loves to read. I cut 3 layers of the bookmark and dry embossed one of them. I them spread molding paste on the backside of it and let it dry. I put just enough on to fill up the debossed spaces, just to keep them from getting squished flat when the bookmark is used I glued all the layers together and edged the whole thing with a blue marker. I also stamped the greeting in blue on the front of the card and the inside verse in blue. On the inside is also a red stocking stamped.
The book mark is held in place with a pocket on the front of the card (behind the bookmark). there is a tab on the back of the bookmark that fits into the pocket. It can be cut off to use the bookmark.

I thought I spied a Pepsi can : ) But only because I was looking to see what you had cut your elements from! Sweet design and I love the houndstooth background.

Oh my goodness! That is a great take on the removable element and the stockings are adorable! You can barely tell it is a soda can and those colors are great for your project! Thanks for taking my challenge!

This is genius, Pat. Love that you used a Pepsi can too. The colors just popped out of the thumbnails. You put a lot of thought and creativity into this and it shows. Your granddaughter will love this.
