I trimmed Distress Watercolor card to measure 5" x 7", coloured with Stormy Sky and Black Soot Distress Oxide inks using a mini round blending tool and spritzed with water to create a snowy effect.
I stamped one of the snowflake images from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Swirly Snowflakes with Stormy Sky Distress Oxide ink and two snowflakes from Mini Swirly Snowflakes inked with Versamark ink and heat embossed with Ranger Superfine White and Silver Embossing Powders.
I mixed Ranger Pearl and Blue Patina Perfect Pearls with water in Mini Mister bottles, flicked on to the background and repeated with Brushed Pewter Distress Mica Spray.
I die-cut tags using Simon Says Stamp Snowflake Tag dies from white card. I coloured the tag on the left with Black Soot Distress Oxide ink and added a tag overlay die-cut from the snowflake acetate sheet from Tim Holtz Idea-ology Christmas/Noel Paper Stash. I coloured the tag on the right lightly with Black Soot Distress Oxide and added strips from Tim Holtz/Sizzix Holiday Knit Thinlits die-cut from card coloured with Festive Berries Distress Paint. I added the white negative snowflakes from the tags and Red Eclectic Element Thread bows.
I die-cut the Cool Yule snowman from white card and card coloured with Black Soot, Festive Berries and Stormy Sky Distress Paint, added accents to his hat band and scarf using a Sakura White Gelly Roll Pen and fixed in place with Tim Holtz/Sizzix Mini Foam Adhesive.
I die cut "SNOW" 3 times from white card using Tim Holtz/Sizzix Alphanumeric Thinlits and layered to create dimension. (I have a sneaky feeling that the "S" is upside down but hey I won't tell if you don't) I die cut the stars from Simon Says Stamp Silver Glitter card and added to the tags, the Snowman's hat and the die-cut letters.
I added an Idea-ology Christmas Quote Chip and Christmas Remnant Rubs. I scuffed up the edges of the panel with Tim Holtz Paper Distresser, matted the panel on to paper from the Idea-ology Christmas/Noel Stash pad and fixed to an 6" x 8" White Card Blank.
