ravengirl, Toni, asked for messy...self induced or with a cool stamp. I used both on my discovering card. And I don't think I could ever repeat this. Nope, not in a million years. So I think I'll just hoard this card, put it on my card spinner and look at it every now and then to remind myself I can have fun with messy!
I love the TCW pomegranate stencil. I cut one of the pomegranates out and raised it above the base. Used the wonderful splatter from SU French Foliage inked with TH do Milled Lavender for random splatter.
Added an encouraging word and the zig zag border and called it done. Thanks to our wonderful challenge makers...you were inspiring! I am listing this as challenging only because it was out of my comfort zone. I'd like to get where I could pop these out in a heart beat. I guess life is asking me to keep on...

What a fabulous background, it's like some old Provocraft paper I loved and hoarded for a long time before finally using most of it. And those pomegranates, they are fantastic. Your stamped spatter (that set was worth it for that stamp alone, IMO) is perfect, blending in with the background and also echoing the pomegranate seeds...and the way the juice from them spatters all over in real life.

Super creation and you are so right, you could never duplicate this one. But, that is the fun in getting messy. I love your card and don't blame you for keeping it just for yourself.

I know what you're saying about just having to keep some cards for our own enjoyment . . .. This bg turned out beautifully and I love the two versions of the pomegranate! This is truly delightful.

Susan, how funny that you make this look so easy but say it's a challenge for you. There is nothing you cannot do to make a beautiful card. That's for sure. So lovely.
