I sprinkled brushos onto my mixed media card stock, sprayed with some water, then sprayed with spray starch, put cling wrap over the top of that and added some wrinkles to the cling. When dry I die cut the Memory Box wired ornament from Shimmer Sheetz and inlaid. Stamped my favorite flourish and heat embossed with Brutus Monroe silver embossing powder and did the same with the sentiment. Added a few tiny nail heads then pierced a stitched a tiny flourish.

You got fantastic results with that technique, the background is gorgeous, and the perfect setting for one of my favorite ornaments. The silver looks amazing against those beautiful blues and magentas.

Nancy, your background makes me think of the northern lights swirling in the sky. Your silver embossing and die cut ornament are a perfect combination. So so pretty

Beautiful background. Love the silver swirls along with your silver ornament! (thanks for your suggestion of spraying and weighing on my card, trying it right now).

Festive and pretty and such a great technique. I can just imagine how wonderful all the gifts you tie these to must look. They all look so different and so unique and so beautiful. Breathtaking beauty!! Your cling wrap technique is marvelous and love the silver metallic ornament and sentiment.
You’ve inspired me to give this technique a try again; my previous attempts did not meet my expectations.
