Hooray, it's almost time for another VSN! I especially love the last one of the year...great for getting my Christmas mojo tuned up! First up is Scrapperwannabe (Misti)'s A Charlie Brown Christmas.
When I was planning my cards for this Holiday mini, I decided I wanted to use one stamp for all 3 three challenges. I am happy to say it was fun making it work. I love fussy cutting and this tree was a challenge to get those swirls and curves. I seriously need a pair of German scissors like they use for the silhouettes of adorable children. Once I had the tree cut, I selected a pretty pinkish bg paper and set it out on that wonderful mid grey cardstock.
Thinking of my grandmother's flocked pink tree...it's the only kind I can ever recall her having. She adored the fat, fluffy branches and the pink shiny brite ornaments...happy, happy thoughts.
Thanks Misti for getting us warmed up...with loving memories and artful creations. Everyone, please check out these VSN challenges...you have until Christmas Eve to upload...treat yourself!

well, Susan, I'm ashamed I've missed four of your cards but now I see why. You are VSNing. I tend not to do these extras and I should every once in a while. I have a new stamp (from the neglected ones I told you about!) that is very similar and now I have an idea. This is wonderful.
