Love those ornaments; thanks for the enabling. I used these socks as my inspiration: https://www.fairindigo.com/catalog/p...sa-made-socks/
I own several pair of these mismatched socks and love them. I used shades of greens and browns to create stripes, direct to paper, and then sprayed with water and blotted with a paper towel. I did this a few times, adding more stripes, adjusting the colors until I was pretty happy with it. I cut it into five strips and Zentangled on them to represent the patterns of the socks. The colors are a bit too soft (they're better irl) but I'm pretty happy with how this turned out, since it was sort of an experiment.

This is a great take on those wild socks. I loved them on the site. Reminds me of the Amish always purposely leaving a mistake in their quilting. Your experiment was a success. And Zentangle perfect for the pattern.

OH my gosh Jean! Love the zentangles on your pastel stripes. This is so creative! I'd never think to do what you did to create this fun card. And love the socks! Maybe I should treat myself to a pair.

I love when people do things "just to see" - that's how new techniques are discovered, I'm sure. Great card, and thanks for the description of how you did it!
